Otis and Lucky in Detente!
Okay, so “Best Friends” is a bit of a stretch. This is our kitten Otis and our older cat Lucky, in a rare moment of peace! Otis LOVES to play with Lucky, usually by pouncing on her, and Lucky is not much of a fan of that, generally. But the more time they’ve spent together, the more she’s learned patience with our new little boy, and it’s become really clear that they actually MISS each other when one is out of the house (at the vet, e.g.). Just goes to show you two kitties who start off cross CAN learn to get along with time and persistence! We sure love these two a lot. Silly little kitties.

Chloe and Charlie in ”Paws of Love a la Creation of David”
I adopted Chloe when she was a young mama in 2009. When I adopted Charlie as a kitten in 2010, she helped mother him. They are great playmates and still have quite a bond with joint grooming sessions and the occasional naptime cuddle.
Their pose reminded me of Michelangelo’s Creation of David, so I had to snap a picture.

I adopted Trance from Purrfect Pals after I had just lost a cat to cancer. I adopted Jewels from Forgotten Felines. Jewels has only one eye and has limited vision in her other eye. That doesn’t stop her from running and playing. Her and Trace have become best friends and are always playing and or sleeping together.

Eddie and Bella are bonded brother and sister and were originally barn cats on a dairy farm. After moving to a second farm, the finally ended up at Purrfect Pals. Eddie is FIV positive, and they are together now at their permanent foster home.
