JUDGE’S CHOICE WINNER – Cat Show

Milo is a 7 year old neutered male.

Is that dairy that you are consuming? Milo is on his way! He loves ice cream and yogurt. The sound of a spoon tapping against a plastic cup or glass bowl is the sound of glory to Milo. He will make sure that you share with him by grabbing your hand as you are about to feed yourself ice cream or yogurt and pull your hand with the spoon towards his mouth. Then you realize half of what you had is gone. Then it is not so cute the next time (but it is funny). After consuming dairy, he can be found sleeping in the bathtub.

Mochi

Mochi is an 11 year old spayed female

Mochi is an old soul. She doesn’t let any of the dogs or cats that she lives with push her around. In fact, she lets the British Staffy walk over her. She really doesn’t care and just won’t move out of the way. She doesn’t mind one bit who is invading her space, but not for too long, as she does paw at them to leave her alone. We like to imagine that Mochi lived in her previous lifetime as an American socialite, fashion model, and perhaps, a cabaret performer. Now it looks and just lounges wherever the sun or heat hits, next to a pile of things or shoes.

Annabelle

Annabelle is a three year old spayed female.

Annabelle is a rescue from a family with too many un-altered cats. She looks like a little cream puff but is the toughed cat in the house. Given that her position is assured she has nothing to prove and is a relaxed, content cat who is great company. She knows what she wants, wether it is some time in the sun or some time on a lap, and goes for it directly.

Mr. Cotton

Mr. Cotton is a one year old neutered male.

I adopted Mr. Cotton (aka Peter) as a kitten, last year at the Average Joe Cat Show! I wanted to adopt him, even before I got to hold him. Just by looking at him and watching him I could see he was outgoing, loved people, adventurous, precocious and playful but kind and caring too.

Mr. Cotton has been all that and more! He is a wonderful addition to our home and a great companion for our more reserved, shy girl kitty Akiko. Mr. Cotton just loves going for walks on his leash, of course he would prefer to do it without the leash! Whenever he sees someone on his walks he has to run right up to them and say hi. Of course he has charmed the neighborhood; friends, neighbors, shop keepers and total strangers just love him. People will even stop their cars to say hi! He is always well behaved and loves affection from young and old alike.

At home he is a great helper. He loves to follow my husband and I around the house assisting us with making the bed, doing the dishes, vacuuming, laundry, and even yoga!
At night he has to patrol the house before insisting on being let under the sheets, so he can snuggle up and sleep with us.

Like I said he is also a great companion to our other cat Akiko. He loves playing with her, sharing food and treats with her and often in the afternoons they are found grooming and sleeping together on the cat bed in the sun.

Mr. Cotton is truly one of the best kitties ever and he is pretty handsome to boot!

Noodle is a very kind and caring kitty. He likes sparkly puff balls and he has silly personality. He likes to sleep and he is very people friendly. He is a very outgoing, laid back lap cat. He plays with his sister Muffins all the time. He is very soft and cuddly. He is an Orange Tabby.

My cat although 13 years old is full of spunk and curiosity. She has huge gorgeous green eyes. She loves to explore new locations. When she is in a new place, she goes into all the cabinets and closets. Her hobbies are watching birds outside our window and tossing a mouse toy in the air to pounce on.

Caramel loves to eat….and eat….and eat. If we don’t feed him “enough”, he will try to eat paper, feathers, fake plants, and anything else he can find. Caramel enjoys supervised visits outside where he can live his dream of gorging on the never-ending supply of grass. He enjoys car rides in the summer.

BEST IN SHOW WINNER – Cat Show

Sophie June is an eleven month old spayed female.

A feral cat had kittens under my brother’s porch. Sophie was the only survivor. She came along at a perfect time for me. I had lost 3 of my 4 kitties in early 2012 to cancer. I acquired Sophie 6 months later. What a pick-me-up she is! She will be competing in the costume contest with her sister, Tiger Lily. Watch out!
